Snowball Fight

Today was one of the only snow days of the year (pretty sad) so we decided to take advantage. After I was finally able to convince Cutler and Mason that cars and bikes don't ride very well in the snow...they decided to have a snowball fight instead. I thought it was a great idea.

Zoo Day with the Reschkes

This December, the Reschke family decided to take advantage of the free Zoo days. We really had a good time. I tried to get some good pictures but turns most of the pictures were of the back of the cute kids heads as they looked at all the animals. I've said it before though, nothing is cuter than excited and curious kids looking intently at something through a window.

Doing a summer activity in the Winter really made me look forward to warm weather. When can I expect you warm weather? Any time soon?

Gynastics Performance!

It's time again for Mrs. Heather's gymnastics performance. Cutler is really liking gymnastics and really doing such a good job. I love watching him get up the nerves to do things that used to scare him. I'm so proud of him.

At this performance, Cutler insisted on wearing the Santa hat he got at joy school. Since it's Christmas time...I figured that would be just fine.

At the performance, Cutler tackled the bars

The beam...

And the floor exercises.....

Ta daaa!

Cutler has loved having Keilani in his class.

And we both LOVE Mrs. Heather!

Christmas Day

This Christmas was a day full of family and fun. It started out with the whole family heading off to the movie theater to see the new flick "Puss and Boots" Cutler loved it. He actually stayed in his seat and watched the whole movie.

After the movie it was up to Grandma's house for ginger bread cookie decorating.

After cookies it was time for dinner and then the nativity scene. Cutler played a wise man this year but he a had hard time understanding why he actually had to give away his gift. He said, "I just want to keep it" (an empty box mind you) He was pretty happy to know that after the scene, he could have his gift back.

I think my favorite part was tracking Santa's course on the web. Cutler was so excited to know that Santa was getting close.

We were really excited to have Daren's parents and Brooke and Scott at our house on Christmas morning. And, because we had them there we also got to have the most delicious sweet rolls.

We had so much fun that morning playing with all of Cutler's new toys and enjoying the family. I love Christmas so much.

After a very crazy morning we got ourselves dressed and it was off to Church (were I actually had to speak, ahh!)

We had such a wonderful Christmas season. I absolutely love my family and love that Christmas is all about spending more time with them.
